Does Ozempic cause facial aging?

I was on PIX 11 Morning News with Vanessa and Kirstin. I discussed how GLP-1 drugs like Ozempic can help with rapid weight loss, but it can also cause facial aging because of volume depletion. You may see a profound increase in wrinkles, sagging skin, and a loss of elasticity. We are also seeing hair loss as a result of Ozempic and GLP-1s.

I love the GLP-1 medications and think they’re excellent, but you can have side effects that will need to be treated by a dermatologist. See the Pt. 2 of the interview for treatment options.

Last weekend, I had an event for my trustees at my practice at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC).

We talked about anti-aging skin, cancer prevention, Botox, fillers, skin tightening, MultiFrax, radio frequency/microneedling, and lasers, and we did tours of the office during the fireside chat.
