Jillian Searle (Director and Senior Psychologist) is an experienced practitioner with a demonstrated history of working in the private and public sectors. Jillian is skilled in working with clients with a range of presentations including anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder, sleep disturbance, addictions, trauma, anger, grief, chronic health conditions, narcissistic personality disorder, PTSD, complex PTSD, adjustment disorder, relationship breakdowns and workplace issues. Jillian practices within a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) framework, whilst incorporating aspects of psychodynamic psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness and meditation training. Jillian has had extensive experience within the Workers Compensation space, and has a strong belief in the important role that returning to work and maintaining engagement in employment plays in an injured worker’s rehabilitation process. Jillian's passion is providing one-on-one counselling to her clients and empowering them to overcome their symptoms through understanding the connection between their experiences and their learned beliefs and behaviours. Jillian aims to assist her clients to develop the self-awareness and insight that is necessary to improve and to gain and maintain control of their ongoing life functioning.
