What is Buruli ulcer and what to look out for.

Buruli ulcer is a serious skin infection caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium ulcerans. It destroys skin and soft tissue and can lead to large ulcers if not treated early. The incubation period can be 4-6 months and is prevalent in our local area.
