MOVE YOUR BODY
Shift your surroundings.
As simple as a short walk, or physically moving from your surroundings to somewhere else in your house, to a park, cafe, beach, just physically shift your surroundings to something new.
HYDRATE
Ensure your body is hydrated, this will aid in headaches, hunger & cravings, just to name a few. Any water will do, and is better than nothing, but if you do want to be more particular.
Ideally
1. Fresh spring water without filtering
2. Filtered water with electrolytes/minerals, or a pinch of high quality salt
EAT WHOLE FOODS
Focus on balancing protein, veg/salad & carbs, and don’t over complicate!
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, don’t worry about weight, size or portions, just start with balance.
⇢ Eating enough protein will help you with hunger
⇢ Veg/salad, will help your system not feel so weighted while still satiated
⇢ Carbs (rice/potatoes), this will help you feel fuller, giving you that comforted feeling we sometimes need from food, especially when feeling low.
If you want a little extra, add in a little healthy fat, Olive Oil or Avocado are great options & will help with cravings in between meals.
