I usually keep this page focused on fertility. But today, I’m making an exception.
Fourteen years ago, a group of us in Israel made a simple video to the Iranian people: we don’t hate you. We want peace. We see you beyond politics and beyond governments.
What happened next was overwhelming. The video reached millions as Israelis and Iranians reached out to one another beyond politics and beyond governments.
The response we received from Iranians was unforgettable, ordinary people answering back with love and hope.
Today, as the world feels heavy again, I want to share that message once more. This is not a war with the Iranian people. It is a struggle against extremism and dictatorship, not against a beautiful nation and its people.
About 100 meters from where this video was filmed, a rocket landed today, killing a woman and injuring many others. My heart breaks seeing the pain and suffering on both sides, ordinary families affected by forces far beyond their control.
In this video I’m holding a tiny baby, my son, now 14 and taller than me. So much has changed. And yet, the message hasn’t.
To the Iranian people, we love you. We support you. We hope for a future where you can live freely and safely.
To my brothers and sisters in Israel, stay strong. Stay safe. Hold onto hope.
I care deeply for my Iranian and Israeli friends and worry for their and my loved ones I hope this painful chapter leads to something better for all of us.
And yes… look how young I was back then.

Yesterday my close friend Daniel passed away.
Daniel was the best of us.

He taught me every single day how to live life to the fullest. How to see beauty in everything. How to appreciate every moment, every experience, every person and every relationship. Through our shared passion for film and travel, and through a deep and rare friendship, I learned from him how to truly be present in the world.

For the past two years, Daniel bravely battled glioblastoma. He faced this disease with extraordinary strength, optimism and spirituality. I walked alongside him on this journey, and even in illness his life force was immense. He had a way of crystallising what it really means to live, not just to exist.

My heart breaks for his amazing wife, Shai, and for his two beautiful sons. The loss for them is immeasurable. Daniel was an extraordinary human being, but also a devoted and loving husband and an exceptional father. Shai, your strength, love and grace throughout this journey have been nothing short of remarkable. Your boys carry Daniel within them, in his warmth, curiosity and way of seeing the world.

To his sons, when you grow up, I promise I will tell you again and again about the incredible father you had, how deeply he loved you, and how proud he was to be your dad.
Daniel will be greatly missed. But he will never be gone. He will forever remain in my heart, my memory, and in the lessons he taught me about how to be in this world.

Mother’s Day can be a painful reminder for some, and a dream come true for others. For many, it’s both. The journey to parenthood isn’t easy — it’s filled with resilience, heartbreak, strength, and sometimes, joy beyond words.

I recently received photos of little Matilda celebrating her first birthday — a beautiful reminder of what this work is all about.

To every patient who has trusted me along the way: thank you. You’ve let me be part of something deeply personal, and I’m endlessly grateful.

Here’s to many more years of helping families grow, and to all those still on the path — I see you, and I believe in you.
