✨ In Honour of St. Mary Magdalene ✨
Yesterday we celebrated a woman of deep devotion, fierce love, and the fragrance of faith: St. Mary Magdalene.
“Mary took a pound of costly perfume made of pure nard, anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped them with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.”
— John 12:3
Her act was more than perfume.
It was prayer in liquid form.
It was the language of love, spoken without words.
It was Ora et Aroma—prayer and fragrance as one offering.
🌿 Mary reminds us:
Prayer can be a gesture, a silence, a scent.
Healing comes when love is poured out without measure.
Fragrance can fill the room, and the soul, with grace.
🕯️ A Magdalene Moment at Home:
Light a candle
Anoint your hands with a drop of oil (spikenard, frankincense, or lavender)
Whisper this prayer:
“Lord, let my life rise before You like a sweet fragrance.”
