Why I love Quercetin for Hayfever 🤧

Conventional antihistamines mainly block histamine receptors, so they reduce sneezing, itching, and a runny nose. This relieves symptoms quickly, but it doesn’t address why histamine is being overproduced. In other words, it’s masking symptoms rather than fixing the underlying cause.

Quercetin, on the other hand, works upstream by stabilising mast cells and modulating the immune system, so it can reduce histamine release and support a more balanced immune response long-term. You’re not just covering up symptoms, you’re helping the body react less aggressively to triggers over time.

We’re officially eligible for private health insurance rebates! ❤️

This change follows a federal review confirming their effectiveness (A big win for evidence-based natural health in Australia).

This is a huge step forward - not only for public safety, ensuring people can identify trained and qualified practitioners, but also for the accessibility and recognition of our profession.

You will need to check with your insurer for coverage details, however, Mark Butler has stated the government is ensuring this is available as soon as possible.
