Laser-assisted Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) at Kera Dermatology.

PDT works by applying a photosensitising agent to the skin that is selectively absorbed by damaged and precancerous cells. When activated by light, it destroys those cells while leaving healthy tissue intact.

Dr Will Cranwell has specialty training combining lasers and energy-based devices with PDT to treat sun damage at every stage, from precancerous actinic keratoses through to superficial skin cancers including basal cell carcinoma and Bowen disease.
