Hi everyone!!!
Sorry I have been so MIA on this page!
I won’t lie I am a huge IG lover and running multiple social media pages sometimes feels a little 🤯🤯

But I am going to do my best to be a little more active here and share some of the birthy magic I share on IG here too!

It’s been a BIG first year for me last year, I’ve been on call since April 2021 and patiently waiting for baby number 15 to arrive in the next few weeks ✨

I’m just about to start a new volunteer role as the website coordinator for Homebirth Australia and I’m already getting super booked up for births in 2022 which is epic!!

Sending you all lots of love and hopefully you’ll see my posts a little more often!!

There’s a HUGE misconception about Doulas + I firmly believe as a Doula, educating society and clearing up some of those misconceptions is vital.

Are there doulas that only support women birthing at home? Absolutely.
Are there doulas that will tell you ‘you don’t need pain relief’? Absolutely.

But please don’t think that is ALL doulas.
Finding the right doula is so important (for the parents and the doula) your beliefs, values and ways of working have to align. Don’t be afraid to call up a few and see who you vibe with and who vibes with you. It’s not a one way street 🔁 and we all have our own individual ways of working.

Educating society and my community about the work of doulas is so important to me!
