This Occupational Therapy Week, we’re celebrating the power of supportive, practical care.

OTs, like Dr Anna Cooper, help children participate in daily life - from tying shoelaces and handwriting to sensory regulation and emotional capacity. Dr Anna Cooper is a paediatric occupational therapist (OT) with over 15 years clinical experience.

At Be Kids, we love working collaboratively with OTs to create consistent, connected care across home, school and therapeutic settings.

Want to know more about how OT and therapy can work together? Let’s chat.

On World Mental Health Day, we’re reminded that children’s emotional wellbeing starts at home, and grows with the right support.

You don’t need to have all the answers, just a willingness to notice, listen and respond with care.

We walk alongside families to strengthen emotional skills and self-awareness. Reach out if you’d like to learn more.

As Term 4 approaches, it’s okay if things feel a little wobbly.
Children often need time to adjust after the freedom of school holidays.

Start small - regular sleep, simple meals, slower mornings.
Predictability and presence will help them settle, even if the pace feels different.

Need support easing back into routine? Our team is here to help.

At Be Kids, we see children as whole, capable, and worthy. We work to create environments that honour difference and nurture connection.

If you’re looking for therapeutic support that aligns with neuro-affirming values, reach out to our team, we’d love to connect with you.

Today is International Literacy Day - a chance to celebrate early communication in all its forms. 📖

Literacy starts long before letters and sounds. It grows in everyday moments: a shared story, a silly rhyme, a question asked with curiosity.

If you’re wondering how to support your child’s early communication, reach out, our team is here to guide you.
