🔥 From 96.3kg to 79.6kg: A Journey of Grit, Growth, and Gratitude! 🔥
Here's what this legend had to say "I wanted to take a moment to reflect on my journey with the Stronglife Method, my 6-month program, and life beyond it. Looking back, I’m honestly blown away by how far I’ve come, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally, too.
📸 Left Photo: Day 1 of the program, weighing in at 96.3kg. At this point, I’d been training for about 2 months, cleaned up my diet a bit, but I was still drinking way too much and feeling stuck.
📸 Right Photo: Taken 05/03/22, weighing in at 79.6kg. These photos are roughly 22 months apart, and the transformation speaks for itself.
But let me tell you, it wasn’t all smooth sailing, and that’s what makes this journey so rewarding.
What I Thought vs. What I Learned
At the start, I thought I had a pretty solid understanding of nutrition and just needed someone to keep me accountable. Boy, was I wrong! 😂 Having Luke Wilson as my coach was an absolute game-changer. His weekly calls were always on point, and he didn’t just guide me, he educated me.
Challenges Along the Way
Life threw some curveballs, but the Stronglife Method taught me how to stay on track, no matter what:
🔒 Delta Lockdown: Gyms closed, motivation waning, but Luke’s advice kept me consistent.
🤕 Carpal Tunnel Syndrome: Luke programmed around it and ensured I stayed focused.
💥 ACL Tear: Took a 6-week break, but came back stronger. Even with some lingering niggles, the results were incredible.
Through it all, the program gave me the tools and mindset to push forward, adapt, and succeed.
Beyond the Program
Now that I’ve been out of the program for a while, I can confidently say that everything I’ve achieved stems from what I learned during those 6 months. Stronglife didn’t just help me lose weight, it gave me a thirst for knowledge and a roadmap for a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle.
I’ve learned about:
🍎 Nutrition: More than just weight loss, fueling my body for long-term health.
🏋️ Training Methods: Building phases, deloading, bulking vs. cutting, and everything in between.
💪 Sustainability: Creating habits that stick, even when life gets tough.
My Advice to You
To anyone just starting their Stronglife journey or feeling like they’re struggling: keep going.
👉 The scales might not always reflect your hard work, but they’re not the only measure of progress.
👉 Stay motivated, even when it feels like it’s not worth it.
👉 Don’t let the grind wear you down, because one day, that grind turns into a habit, and that habit transforms your life.
The Stronglife Method does exactly what it promises: it helps you build a sustainable, healthy lifestyle. I’m living proof of that.
Huge thanks to Luke and the Stronglife team for everything! If you’re on the fence or feeling stuck, I hope my story inspires you to stick to it, you’ve got this. 🚀
