Despite a lot of best intentions, a large portion of manufacturer BIM content is less than ideal for designers to use in ‘real-world’ project

s. More discerning designers and BIM specialists would say “absolute rubbish” or “completely useless”. The premise of manufacturer BIM content is it saves designers time, improves project outputs and streamlines workflows. But in reality, a lot of manufacturer BIM content does exactly the opposite. It’s often more of a liability than an asset. Over-complicated. Overloaded with data. Imported CAD. Missing key data. Incorrectly classified. Incessant warnings. Constantly breaking. Full of unpurged junk. Inconceivable ‘behaviour’… the list goes on. The aim of BIMcontent.com is not to ‘revolutionise’ or ‘disrupt the building industry’. Our aim is simply to give designers what they’ve been asking for… manufacturer BIM content that actually helps, not cause issues.

🚨 Library Updates🚨 We're excited to announce multiple library updates across the ASI Group ( ) libraries for ASI Accurate Partitions, ASI Global Partitions, ASI Storage Solutions, and ASI Visual Display Products. More ⬇️

Created by BIM Content Creation Specialists, IGS BIM Content Solutions, all ASI Revit libraries have been developed to industry best practices and in line with the BIMcontent.com Revit Content Standard.

Recent updates to the ASI Revit libraries are:
⭕ Phenolic Maximum Privacy™ Collection has been added to the ASI Accurate Partitions and ASI Global Partitions Revit libraries.
⭕ HPDE Pro Lockers, specifically designed for applications that require easy access to uniforms and equipment, have been added to the ASI Storage Solutions Revit library.
⭕ The latest update to the ASI Visual Display Products Revit library includes the addition of new products (including Retrofit™ Boards, Frameless Boards, Acoustic Boards, Mobile Units, Recessed Cabinets, and Sliding Glass Bulletin Boards) and new Vinyl and Fabric colors.

All Revit families in the ASI Group Revit library are created with attention to detail in areas such as Levels of Details (Coarse / Medium / Fine), Family and Shared Parameters, 2D linework, Origin Points, Family/Type Naming, Product Data Integration, and Reference Planes.
