Since all you'll hear or see is pictures of oiled up instagram models at a photoshoot - here's some insight into what it takes to get dick-skin levels of body fat and why it's Not Really Worth It

1️⃣ Caloric Deficit: To achieve leanness, a caloric deficit is required. This means consuming fewer calories than your body needs, which can lead to feelings of hunger and restriction. You'll feel low energy, unproductive and definitely weaker in the gym.

2️⃣ Increased Focus and Discipline: Getting lean requires discipline, dedication, and a laser focus on nutrition and exercise. This level of commitment can sometimes lead to obsessiveness, anxiety, and a preoccupation with food and body image.

3️⃣ Social Impact: Striving for leanness may impact your social life. Social events can revolve around food, making it challenging to adhere to strict dietary guidelines. You'll find yourself saying no to social events, because it's hard to track what's on the menu.

Want to do deadlifts, but are concerned about hurting your back??

This is the Hex Bar Deadlift…

It’s similar to a straight bar deadlift, except the bar surrounds you.

It means that your knees don’t get in the way of the bar. This way you don’t have to hinge at the hips quite as much to drag the bar up.

You can be more upright and put less pressure on your lower back πŸ‘ŒπŸ»
