Christine has been with Gratitude Home Care for five years and was one of the first clients to join our service. Since receiving her end-of-life diagnosis, our focus has been to provide consistent, supportive and compassionate care that prioritises her comfort and wellbeing. This includes assistive technology to help reduce pain and increase daily comfort, as well as a dedicated team of support workers who assist with her ongoing care needs and ensure she feels supported every day.
The new Support at Home End of Life Pathway will offer additional funding that will make an important difference for Christine. It will allow for greater flexibility and enhanced support as her needs change, ensuring she can continue to receive high quality care in the way that suits her best.
Alongside her care journey, Christine continues to create beautiful artwork filled with depth, emotion and personal meaning. She recently hosted an art exhibition at her house showcasing her artwork all around the house, and it was a wonderful success. Her creativity is not only remarkable but profoundly inspiring, and her artistic journey continues to impact everyone. We are especially grateful for the large canvas she has gifted to our office. It brings warmth, colour and new life into the space
