Meet Roula

The Heart Behind Roulaana 💜

Roula was the soul of our family, a bright and gentle spirit with a smile that lit up every room. Living with both mental and physical disabilities, she required full support in her daily life, but what she gave in return was far greater.

Though her speech was limited, she understood English, Arabic, and Aramaic, and would often surprise us with simple words and sweet phrases in all three.

She was quietly funny, endlessly strong, and deeply loving. Her presence brought warmth and joy to everyone around her, and her memory continues to guide the way we care for others. Roula is the reason this organisation exists. Her life, her resilience, and her joy are at the very heart of Roulaana.
