Police Seek Help To Locate Missing Woman Alisa
Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing woman Alisa.

The 26-year-old left an address on Florence Street, Port Melbourne, about 10.20am on Saturday, 23 March.

She was last sighted at Middle Brighton Baths around 3pm this afternoon.

Police and family have concerns for Alisa’s welfare as she has an intellectual disability, and her disappearance is out of character.

Alisa is described as being approximately 170cms tall with short black hair.

She was last seen wearing a red top with white flowers.

Alisa is known to frequent the Kensington and Port Melbourne areas.

Investigators have released an image of Alisa in the hope that someone can provide information on her current whereabouts.

Calling all garden enthusiasts! Align Community Network Hub is hosting a Winter Garden Program every Thursday! Join us for one-off sessions as we prep our winter garden at our Community Hub from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, starting March 18, and then choose to continue on to our Term 2 Gardening Workshop 🌱

During these sessions, you’ll learn essential gardening techniques such as soil selection, planting, watering, and maintaining a thriving garden. It’s like a gardening masterclass, but with added fun!

This program is designed to cater to people of all abilities, and we warmly welcome everyone to participate. It’s not just about growing plants; it’s also about enhancing your well-being, boosting your confidence in the garden, and connecting with your local community.

To ensure a comfortable and productive gardening experience, please bring sturdy shoes, old clothes (gardening can be messy), a water bottle, snacks, a hat, and sunglasses (if desired). Let’s get our hands dirty and create some gardening magic together!

Youth Disability Advocacy Service are Looking for 10 disabled young Australians (12-25 years old) to join our Project Advisory Group!

This is part of the NDIS National Disability Insurance Scheme Right To Be Heard project, which aims to assist disabled Australians in understanding their rights and being able to raise concerns with their NDIS support and services.

You would be co-designing and co-creating videos, blog, music, zine, art or other creative content for a new online hub, tailored towards disabled young people, parents, carers and NDIS service providers 🎨🫶

Participants will be paid for their time.
Applications close 9AM on Monday 12 March.

Someone who had terminal cancer once said, "don't be sad for me, we all come to this world to be tourists, enjoy life, go sightseeing, do good deeds, I just so happen to be leaving earlier than others". Today is Cancer Survivor Day. Can I ask a favor? Just a few of you will do it. If you know someone who fought a battle against cancer and passed away, or someone who is still struggling, or know a brave survivor; copy and paste.
So many warriors on my mind today.

Align Community Network is excited to announce our Winter Garden Program, taking place every Thursday from 10:30am to 12:30pm, starting on March 18th. Join us for one-off sessions at our Community Hub, where we’ll prepare our winter garden together. 🌱
