Job role (Casual permanent hours)
*Assistance with community access and recreational activities
*Personal care (showering, toileting, and personal hygiene assistance)
*Manual handling and/or the use of equipment to support mobility (wheelchairs or hoists)
*Transportation and supporting social engagement
*Light domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning

Requirements

*Professional experience in supporting and/or caring for a person with a disability
*Certificate iii or iv in Individual support/ Disability support
*Experience using a Hoist (Standing hoist and/or Lifting hoist)
*Flexible availability (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) & a long-term commitment

You must have

*An understanding of the disability/community services sector and person-centred support
*Transferable life/work skills along with a caring and compassionate approach
*A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
*The legal right to work in Australia
*Excellent communication skills
*A genuine interest in the wellbeing & inclusion of people with disabilities
