Self abandonment can show up in many different ways.
In relationships (romantic, friendship, professional) self abandonment can look like:
🔸 Ignoring big red flags/dealbreakers, especially in the beginning of the connection
🔸 Denying ourselves of our own needs in order to make the other person happy. Therefore, only their needs are being met. If you do this, reflect on how ✨ YOU FEEL ✨ in this situation!
🔸 Time and time again, giving someone who’s treating you poorly numerous chances, in a hope that they will change their actions. We can’t change/control anyone but ourselves 🙃
🔸 Betraying ourselves, our values, our goals, our dreams, our entire being….to be chosen. 👏🏻 you’re worth more than this 👏🏻 you’re worthy of someone who chooses you for exactly who the heck you are!!
