The human body is a self-cleaning, self-healing mechanism.
Our body is designed to naturally detox & clean itself every minute of every day through its elimination channels; skin, bowels, urine, lungs (breath), uterus.
Detox is not something we add to the body with pills, powders, herbs or supplements to try to make the body do. Detox is not something we control or force the body into doing.
The way we support our body to clean itself correctly is by lifting the burdens from our body & environment.

Fast Food Packaged By Nature!’ 🍇🍇🍇 🍌🍌🍌

I often have friends & clients ask me for lunch ideas, “what’s the fastest & easiest lunch that I can prepare.”

My recommendation is to always take advantage of what nature has created & packaged for us (our species appropriate food.)

Eat a bunch of bananas for lunch.
Enjoy a kilogram of grapes, cherries or persimmons for lunch.
Enjoy some oranges until you feel satiated.
Enjoy in abundance whichever seasonal fruits you prefer!
When you start eating fruit as your meal instead of a snack or an afterthought, watch your health shift!

Before you beg to question “what about protein?”
The human body does not require protein as a substance. It requires amino acids, the simple building blocks from which the body constructs its own human proteins. When we consume complex proteins, the body must first break them down, which requires a tremendous expenditure of energy & produces acidic waste.
A diet based on foods naturally rich in amino acids; fruits, leafy greens, vegetables, nuts & seeds in their raw form, supplies the body adequate amounts of protein. Digestion also becomes simplified & energy is conserved for healing & maintenance rather than waste processing.
A high-protein diet is not only unnecessary, it can be damaging.
The widespread belief that we must consume large amounts of protein is purely a marketing ploy!
The fact of the matter remains that proteins break down into acids. Acids damage cells, inflame tissues & burden elimination organs. Excess protein contributes to edema, tumors, organ degeneration, gout, kidney stones & inflammatory disease. Fat further blocks the elimination of these acids, which is why high-protein, high-fat diets are so destructive.
One of the most overlooked facts is that the body recycles 70–75% of its own protein waste to meet its needs. Once growth is complete, protein requirements drop dramatically.

Please, enjoy your fruit in abundance, after all it is nature’s perfect biological food for our species!

‘Sweet Potato Toast w/ Nut Butter & Berry Chia Jam’ 😍😍

The ultimate snack! 🍓🍓

Sweet Potato Toast Ingredients: • 1 large sweet potato, sliced length-ways (1cm thick with skin on.)

Method: Place the sweet potato into a toaster or sandwich press & cook for a few minutes, making sure it doesn’t burn.
Tip: use chopsticks to maneuver them out of the toaster if they get stuck!

Nut Butter & Berry Chia Jam Ingredients:
• 3 TBSPS raw natural nut butter of choice (oil, sugar & salt free.)
• 2 TBSPS shredded coconut.
• 1 TBSP chia seeds. • 1 TBSP maple syrup or 1/2 cup medjool dates. • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, raspberries or mixed berries.
• Squeeze of lemon juice.

Method: Jam - Mash the berries with a fork for a more chunky jam, or blitz quickly in a blender. Add the maple syrup & a squeeze of lemon juice.
Stir in the chia seeds & let sit for 15 minutes.
Nut butter - Add a good pinch of cinnamon to your favourite nut butter & swirl in.

Assemble the toast, spread on the nut butter, drizzle with chia jam & top with fresh berries & coconut.

Enjoy! Serves 2.

Dis-ease 101

Health is the state in which the body operates with ease. Disease is simply the loss of that ease. When we burden the body with waste through cooked foods, animal products, chemical poisons & other abuses, it cannot function at normal efficiency. If we continue those habits, the body either maintains the same state of dysfunction & produces the same symptoms or it declines further & produces new ones. Symptoms do not appear randomly; they reflect the conditions we create.

The body does not malfunction without reason. It responds directly to the environment we create. Symptoms are the body providing usable feedback about the inputs we are providing. When we restore the conditions required for normal operation, the body returns to normal function. Once the causes are removed, disease labels lose their foundation.
It takes considerable effort to maintain dis-ease; overeating, overworking, ingesting stimulants, toxins, drugs that continually burden the body with irritants. Health, by contrast, requires far less strain. We eat foods suited to our physiology; simple, ripe, whole foods that digest & assimilate easily. We rest. We breathe clean air. We engage in work & relationships that nourish rather than exhaust us.
Health often requires subtraction, not addition.

It is far more laborious to manufacture disease than to support health. Disease demands the preparation of heavy, stimulating meals, constant exposure to toxins & continuous energy expenditure through difficult digestion & recovery.
Health can be as simple as eating a ripe apple. No complex preparation. No chemical stimulation. No aftermath that taxes the system. The body thrives when we stop interfering with it.

You cannot maintain disease, no matter the label once you remove its causes. It does not matter what name has been assigned. If you stop burdening the body, it stops producing the symptoms required to cope with that burden.

Your health & wellness journey isn’t about perfection. It’s about alignment, awareness & gradual return to what your body truly wants. Slipping up doesn’t mean failure. It means you’re human & living in a world designed to make natural living challenging.

Here are some gentle but powerful ways to help you stay committed & disciplined to your health & wellbeing.

Connect With Your ‘Why’
Write it down. Why are you leaning into a natural WFPBD?
Is it for healing? For clarity?
For energy? For a long life?
For disease prevention? Make your ‘why’ visible, on your mirror, phone, fridge, vision board etc.
Let it become your anchor.

Shift The Narrative (Your Mindset)
Instead of thinking ‘I failed, ’try; ‘This was a moment that reminded me
how far I’ve come & where I still need support.’
Fast food isn’t just food, it’s convenience, comfort & habit. What were you needing in that moment? Ease? Relief? Reward?
Once identified, in future you can meet your particular need in a better way.

Prepare Like A Pro
Discipline is easy when you don’t leave it to willpower.
Willpower is like a battery, it drains. But if you’re well prepared you can
& will succeed!
Keep chopped fruit, veg, smoothies & salads in the fridge.
Keep a big batch of melon, grapes or mono-meals ready to go.
Have natural treats ready for when cravings hit (e.g. dried fruits; figs,
apricots, sultanas, dates, raw nuts & seeds, banana ice cream.)
You will remove friction & make success effortless.

Interrupt The Pattern
Next time you feel the urge for fast food:
Pause & drink a tall glass of water.
Take a 5 minute walk.
Journal or voice memo what you’re feeling.
These simple interruptions give your nervous system a chance to reset.
Often, the craving will pass.

Create A ‘Bounce-Back’ Ritual
After a slip, don’t spiral. Instead, ritualize your return.
Do a simple fruit & salad only day (watermelon, grapes, oranges, fresh greens.)
Take a gentle walk in nature.
Journal: ‘What did I learn? How can I love myself forward?’

Let Environment Be Your Ally.
Out of sight, out of mouth.
Avoid places or people that tempt you, at least during your rebuilding phase.
Unfollow food pages that aren’t aligned with your trajectory.
Drive a different route that avoids the temptation.
Ask loved ones to support your journey.

Make It Sacred
You’re not just eating differently; you’re reclaiming your health, your sovereignty, your future!
Make your meals sacred: Eat slowly, mindfully, in silence or with healing music rather than in front of the screen.
Pray with thanks for your food.
Feel how it supports & nourishes your cells.

Finally, continue showing up for yourself.
Move Forward & Rise
You haven’t failed, you’ve remembered. Every time you return, you get stronger.

2025 has without a doubt been a wild ride in many aspects.
