Gout (Gout) is a type of arthritis caused by hyperuricemia, which usually manifests itself as sudden, severe pain, redness, swelling and fever in the joints. Uric acid is a product of purine metabolism in the body and is normally excreted in the urine. However, when there is too much uric acid or the kidneys are unable to excrete it effectively, uric acid crystals are deposited in the joints, leading to an inflammatory response.
Gout commonly affects the big toe, but can also affect other joints such as knees, ankles and fingers.

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a common degenerative joint disease usually caused by wear and tear and damage to the cartilage in the joints. With age or prolonged pressure on the joints, the cartilage within the joints gradually deteriorates, leading to increased friction between the joints, which in turn leads to inflammation, pain, stiffness, and limited movement. Osteoarthritis is most common in the knee, hip, spine and finger joints.
Its main symptoms include joint pain, stiffness that worsens with activity, swelling, and decreased range of motion in the joints. Factors such as overuse of joints, injury, or genetics may increase the risk of developing osteoarthritis. As the disease progresses, joint stability and function may be compromised, and in severe cases, joint deformity may result.

Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is a chronic, autoimmune disease that primarily affects the joints, causing inflammation, pain, swelling and stiffness. It usually starts in small joints, such as those in the fingers, wrists and toes, and can gradually spread to other joints and even affect the spine. The immune system in rheumatoid arthritis attacks the body's own tissues, resulting in damage to the soft tissues and bones around the joints.
Symptoms may get progressively worse over time, leading to joint deformities and limited function. In addition to joint symptoms, rheumatoid arthritis may affect other parts of the body, such as the skin, eyes, and lungs, causing systemic symptoms. The disease usually develops between the ages of 30 and 60, with a higher incidence in women than in men.

Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA) is a chronic inflammatory joint disease that usually occurs along with psoriasis. It causes pain, swelling, and stiffness in the joints, especially in the fingers, toes, knees, and spine. Patients often have accompanying skin symptoms of psoriasis, such as red, scaly patches. The exact cause of psoriatic arthritis is not fully understood, but it is usually associated with an abnormal immune system response and genetic factors. The manifestations of the disease vary from person to person and may lead to joint deformities and loss of function, which in severe cases affects the quality of life.
