You don’t have to push through.

You don’t have to pretend everything is okay when it isn’t.

And you definitely don’t have to be ashamed to ask for support when you need it.

Today, we’re saying yes to prioritising your mental health, and saying no to silencing what your mind and body are trying to tell you.

Conditions like anxiety, depression, and PMDD are all valid – and they deserve care, not dismissal.

Whether your symptoms are constant or cycle-related, subtle or overwhelming, you deserve support that actually helps you feel better.

Because being kind to your mind is never selfish – it’s essential 🌼

Being heard in healthcare isn’t a privilege, it’s a right.

Yet too often, women and gender-diverse people are left waiting longer, misdiagnosed, or dismissed altogether.

Advocacy can change that. Asking questions, seeking second opinions, pushing for answers, or joining movements can mean the difference between years of frustration and getting the care you deserve.

At Hazel, we’re here to back you up. We're here to make sure your voice is part of every step in your health journey. We're here for you 💛

Every check matters, and this Women's Health Week, we’re saying yes to regular, preventative care from practitioners who help you feel seen.

Why? Because you don’t have to wait until something feels wrong to prioritise your health.

This is your reminder that every check matters, from the small ones, to the regular ones, to the just-in-case ones.

Your body deserves to be cared for consistently, not just when it’s in crisis. So say yes to preventative care. Say yes to routine check ups. Say yes to extra testing when something feels off.

At Hazel, we make space for all of it. The big questions, the quiet symptoms, the gut feelings. And it all starts with our team of Women’s Health experts who actually listen.

The latest Australian guidelines mark an important shift in how endometriosis is diagnosed and managed – and for the 1 in 7 women and AFAB folks living with this condition, that's big news.

Here’s what’s changing:

✨ Surgery is no longer the only way to get a diagnosis
💡 Alternative tools like transvaginal ultrasounds are now in (but as we know, not everything works for everyone, so it's important to discuss this with your doctor)
🧠 Care is becoming more holistic (finally!). Think hormonal support, pelvic physio, lifestyle changes, mental health care and natural therapies
🤝 Multidisciplinary support is being prioritised, meaning more specialists working with each other, and with you

Yes, diagnosis delays have halved, but six years is still six years too long.

At Hazel, we know the toll this journey takes. The pain. The waiting. The feeling of not being taken seriously. That’s why we’re committed to offering care that listens, adapts, and puts you at the centre.

You deserve informed, compassionate and accessible care at every step of your endometriosis journey.

They sound similar. They feel similar. And sometimes, they even get confused with each other — by doctors, Google, and even our own bodies.

But adenomyosis and endometriosis aren’t the same — and understanding the difference can be a game-changer when it comes to getting the care and support you need.

Endo and Adeno are both common culprits behind heavy, painful periods and chronic pelvic pain — but here’s where they part ways:
💡 Around 200 million women and people assigned female at birth live with either adenomyosis or endometriosis around the world
💡 Both involve endometrial-like tissue growing where it shouldn’t — but how and where it grows is very different
💡 Endo often starts early (sometimes from teens), while adeno typically shows up in your 30s or 40s

✨ We’ve broken it all down in our latest article — minus the jargon, plus a whole lot of clarity. Because understanding your body shouldn’t be so complicated.
