💛 DAFFODIL DIP 💛

On August 23rd we will be participating in the Cancer Council Fundraising event called Daffodil Dip, where we take a 🌊very very cold plunge into the ocean 🌊 for the 1-2 Aussies diagnosed with Cancer by age 85.

‼️NEW TEAM MEMBER: GEORGE DIMITROPOULOS

George Dimitropoulos graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Masters of Podiatric Practice degree in 2014 👏🏼

In 2024 George received his Endorsement for medicines, allowing him to prescribe a variety of medications for foot related health issues💊These include antibiotic, antifungal, analgesic and corticosteroid medications.

George is currently enrolled in the Australasian College Of Podiatric Surgeons - Basic Surgical Skills Education and Training program 🤩

George is highly passionate about optimizing and maintaining foot health👣Minor surgery, sports injuries, wound care, diabetes assessments, management and education, primary foot care and orthotics are all specialties.

George stresses the importance of foot health and how a lack of care can contribute to many other health issues.

George has had experience working in a large variety of podiatric environments, such as private practice, aged care facilities, community health, DHS housing and private home visits. He consciously seeks avenues for continued learning 😇

George’s interests and hobbies include sports, particularly football and soccer, camping, dining out, movies/TV and travelling Australia and overseas ✈️🏕️⚽️🎬

George is currently registered with the Podiatrists Registration Board of Victoria (AHPRA).

This week we celebrated NATIONAL RECEPTIONIST DAY by reminding our reception humans how important they are 🌟

👋🏼 they’re the first face you see when you enter the clinic and always greet you with a smile
🙏🏼they go above and beyond to make sure the practitioners days are smooth and fun
😂 they make sure the snack cupboard is full of all the good stuff

We couldn’t function without them and they deserve to be appreciated every single day! 💚🩵🤍

👣 Hey Foot Centre Group Fam!
Meet Arielle Ditterich 👣

😎 Podiatry Journey:
I developed an interest in foot health and mobility due to my own childhood experiences with foot and ankle conditions and injury. I became incredibly passionate regarding learning about and increasing my own knowledge of how my feet worked and how I could best return to and improve my previous levels of mobility. When it came time to decide what I wanted to do with my life I knew that I wanted to be involved in healthcare and that I could draw on my existing experiences to help people in the way that I was helped so many years earlier.

😎 Beyond Work:
I am an animal lover and love to spend time with my rescue cat Merlin. I could talk about, take photos of and cuddle him all day every day and never get tired of it. I love all things food and adore cooking and eating different cuisines and learning to pair wines with what’s on the menu. I’m a bit of a nerd and passionate about new and retro games and hardware and I collect vinyl records.

😎Excitement at Foot Centre Group:
I’m so excited about working with Foot Centre Group and getting to work so closely with the incredible team to help expand my abilities and knowledge. I’m looking forward to meeting all the new clients at FCG and being able to find a new family within the people I work with and the clients I’m lucky enough to treat.
