You gotta get exercise in where you can and tonight these two wanted to join me! Even had our little man say "hey mum this is fun" while we were boxing and squatting away! Move more and enjoy doing it and you will see results and if you have enthusiastic kiddies joining in, embrace it! All you are doing is encouraging them to be fit and healthy πŸ‘

It's been a while since this mumma of W2W has taken care of herself and smashed out a workout! Like all of us life has been busy with 3 kiddies 5 and under to look after, work to be done, study and household to run! And in amongst it all I lost myself! I lost the motivated fitness chick that I need to be to get though my day! To help me be the best Mum possible, wife, trainer and the like! To show that my body can do it too when screaming at someone else to belt out one last rep! So today I did it! Don't know if it's because it's a Monday, I had a better sleep or it was the music that was pumping! But something in me fired up today! I got out there and worked hard and enjoyed every minute of my training session and still had enough energy to have a dance with my son at the end! Today I spoke to myself as I would a client, told myself I could start fresh and still achieve what I want to as I did pre children and even more! I've started a food diary as I would tell a client to keep me on track, i have my Fitbit charged and ready! Because today for some reason I decided it was time for me to make a change for me and I feel good about it! Watch this space

I'M BACK!!! After 3 weeks off with cold and sinus problems im back to it with motivation kicking in! Before the storm hit me and the crew walked our 4 year old to kinder (the hill on the way there nearly killed me after time off), then my little peeps and I headed to the park on the way home where in between play time I did a continuous circuit that involved step up and jumps, push ups, triceps dips, balancing and chin ups using all the equipment! Was good to get back into it, now to kick some goals! πŸ“·credit our almost 3 year old son! πŸ˜‚

Having 2 girls (even having a little boy) I feel it is incredibly important for them to only embrace their body and love themselves for who they are! I'm not perfect but if my kids see health and fitness as part of my lifestyle and me taking care of my body they simply won't no any different.
Get rid of the negative talk and love the skin you're in as those little ears are listening!

Completed my workout for my day and now I don't have to think about when I will I fit it in after my 3 kiddies are asleep βœ…

Workout today was running 5km at my own pace with a 30 second breather after each km, then move on! What did you do today?

Incredibly true! Today I managed a 20 minute window to get out there and run on my own! For me personally it wasn't the ideal time, ideal circumstances but it was an opportunity for me to take care of me even for 20 minutes. I ran and it was horrible, I felt heavy, brain a bit foggy from not too much sleep and overall 😳! But now I'm glad I did it, I could of easily found some washing, work or reading to occupy my time! Giving myself that 20 minutes to focus on myself has given me time to work on my weaknesses, help me feel better about myself and stopped that negative self talk! Given me that focus and energy I also needed to finish and enjoy the rest of the day with my kids! Today's workout 3km run (walk in there too) finished off with some mat Pilates - 10 x all 4's, leg slides, hundreds (will follow in the coming weeks with photos).
