And curiosity seekers.

Well Valentine’s Day is coming in the weeks ahead though I don’t hold much stock in this hallmark day, there is a history and I’m talking further back than St Valentine and there actually was more than one. 🤣

I’m talking Ancient Rome pagan version “Lupercalia”.

An ancient festival of fertility and purification. This was celebrated to honour the founders of Rome, Romulus and Remus.

The Maidens would put their name in a urn in the centre of town, where men would select a name completely at random.
(I’m sure there was fixing back then too. 😉)

That pair would spend the whole festival together often resulting in marriage straight away. ♥️
This is why February is often associated with the month of love. ♥️

I don’t celebrate this one too much as I believe love can be shared on any day, time or month.
But doesn’t stop my husband bringing me home roses on that day though I think he does it to be safe haha.🤣🥰🌹

So if your matched or happy in your own company during this upcoming month.
Know that love comes in many forms not just between a couple I see love everywhere,
between friends your family even in the animal world and yes your lover be you same s*x or otherwise. ♥️

My particular favourite of these blends is Beltane, I love burning cedar but I like to make me own by drying out my plants. At the moment I’m drying rosemary (it’s is abundance in my home) and English lavender.

But get creative make your smudge blends 🌿
I always find your own has more power behind it.

I think we have our different methods and what speaks to us ♥️
For me I simply go for a walk, sit or lie in nature it’s what works for me as I work a-lot with nature in my craft. 🌿

The more natural the surroundings the more I feel like me. 🌿♥️

You might meditate or go for walks along the beach.
I personally love a sun bath.
Where I just sit in nature while the sunshine hits every part of my body it feels like bliss and I’m ready to take on anything recharged and ready to go. 💪

Remember we all need time to heal don’t forget the most important person in your life. “You” ♥️🌈☀️🌿🌸
