Sharing this because not enough of my clients are eating a proper breakfast before they come to see me

And too many are skipping breakfast altogether (my biggest fertility no-no)

So here are some options for you.

Save them for inspo!

And if you don’t usually eat breakfast, then start small and gradually increase.

I promise your body will eventually start to look forward to breakfast.

This is for my PCOS people trying to work out when the hell to time s3x to conceive.

Ovulation p*e sticks aren’t always a good option.

Firstly, these strips look for a peak in a hormone called LH to predict ovulation.

BUT lots of people with PCOS have high LH as a baseline, so a smiley could actually be a false positive, picking up on hormonal levels that don’t mean that ovulation is coming.

Also people with PCOS may have multiple attempts at ovulation in the one cycle. You may get a peak but not ovulate. If you don’t test again you won’t know this, and you may have missed your chance.

This is why I love teaching with mucus method (usually with body temp charting). This can be way more accurate and successful for a people with PCOS.

If you’re tired of being tired, I have something to tell you

Low iron isn’t the only cause of fatigue.

So often in clinic I see women who are absolutely exhausted, and swear they’ve “had everything tested.”
But have you really had everything tested? 👀

Here are some of the most common culprits of fatigue I see (beyond low iron)…

Because when we actually get to the root cause, that’s when your energy really returns.

Send this to someone who needs an energy boost 🤍

Fertility things that I’m not here for…

1. Spending money on 1-2 coffees out a day, but not investing in good quality prenatal vitamins

2. Feeling constantly exhausted from poor sleep, but scrolling on your phone for hours before bed (& when you wake up)

3. Purchasing ovulation p*e sticks every month, but not learning how to get in tune with your bodies natural fertility signs

4. Snacking all day, but not sitting down to have proper, protein-rich meals (especially breakfast)

5. Buying random exxy supplement you saw endorsed by an influencer, but not investing in expert advice for supplements that you actually need

6. Making beautiful, nutritious meals for your kids, but not prioritising your own nutrition

7. Being willing to do intermittent fasting by skipping breakfast, but not willing to do it by eating an early dinner and having a normal time breaky instead.

Do any hit home?

Dw - I still really like you even if you’re guilty of one (or more) of these.

Real change takes time, commitment, re-shifting priorities, organisation.

I know it’s not easy. I’m not perfect either.

But I am here for you 🩷

✨ PSA for anyone TTC ✨

If you’re waiting for that smiley face on your ovulation sticks before you start trying… you might be missing your best window.

S***m can live up to 5 days - so you want to start before the smiley shows up.

That’s why I’m all about tracking your beautiful mucus. It tells you exactly when you’re fertile 💧

I can’t tell you the amount of times clients have told me that learning to understand their cycle was the deal breaker in them getting pregnant.

DM me ‘cycle tracking’ to find out how I can help you track like a queen.

Conceiving with long cycles doesn’t have to be hard.

Especially if you’ve done all the right prep.

I prepared hard for my two babies. Because I have longer cycles (35-40 days)

BUT. It was worth it. We conceived smoothly. My prep paid off.

So I’m sharing my list with you

Don’t forget to save it for later.

Hello, I’ve been a little quiet over here…

My beloved grandfather -my ‘Zaida Gunner’ - passed away over the weekend, at 104 years young 💔

And I just wanted to tell you a bit about him. Because he was such a legend.

He was so many things: a loving grandfather, a master storyteller, the best at telling jokes, a WWII soldier, even an extra in a movie in his 80s. The life of every party.

People always asked how he lived so long, and I think the answer is simple — he just bloody loved life. He’d say, “I look at the stars, not the mud.” Even as his body slowed down, his mind and heart never did.

He leaves behind a huge legacy — 14 grandchildren, over 30 great-grandkids — and so much love. My 21 month old son still calls him his best friend.

That was my Zaida. He made everyone feel special ❤️‍🩹

And if you’ve read this to the end. Thank you. It means a lot.

About me.

Hi there 👋

I’m Aimee, a degree qualified Women’s Health Naturopath based in Melbourne, Australia 🌸

My mission is to help females achieve menstrual health and optimal fertility with the healing power of diet, herbal medicine and nutrients. Common areas I help with as a Naturopath include endometriosis, adenomyosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome and painful or irregular periods. I am also passionate about fertility and supporting the preconception process.

I started my health education journey with a Science degree at Melbourne University where I majored in human physiology. Following this I completed my Naturopathy degree at the Southern School of Natural Therapies.
