Draw the Core in, lift and squeeze your pelvic floor, press that ball, maintain your neutral spine, stay strong through your hands, tuck those ribs in, but above all…DO NOT FORGET TO BREATH!!! Sound familiar???
As a beginner to Core and Pelvic Floor rehab, it’s very hard to coordinate all these movements. It can be overwhelming and often we just want to give up.
I always advise my patients to pick one thing and work on that. Once you feel confident then we can progress and add something else.
So if you are new to Core and Pelvic Floor rehab, just take it slowly. One contraction at a time. One breath at a time. Then before you know it, you will find all this beginner work a breeze.
