Yesterday was one of those perfect autumnal days.

We are getting so close to moving into the next multifaceted phase of life, alongside the seasons.

Come winter we will have a new little human in our arms, ready to snuggle away with 2 of our babies through the cold weather up in the forest.

I will be forever grateful for the beautiful life we have created. Surrounded by loving family & of course our chosen family - our amazing friends & support.

We took some photos at home yesterday in the afternoon sun with our amazing Charlotte 🤍 followed up by a big evening of chatting with the whole family included (Lenny naked, un**es on head in all of his cheekiness)

This is Helen! I love Helen 💖😂

I am Helen’s #1 fan, although, I know more than a few people out there would fight me for that title! 😉

Helen came into my life when I was the most vulnerable, before I was even 12 weeks pregnant with Lenny back in 2019. She always says that when she first met me I was like a “deer in headlights” and looking back, I was - for sure, either that or a stunned (very morning sick) mullet 😂

Did I mention Helen is a Midwife, a highly skilled lactation consultant IBCLC, Counsellor AND Birth Educator? Well… I have in previous posts, but just in case you missed my lash gushing sappy write up about Helen, now you know 🤭

For anyone who has enquired this year about my birth education classes or if you’re wanting to deep dive further into an empowered and informed birth, Helen runs the Hypnobirthing Australia course and is so incredibly wise in this field.

I owe where I am now to Helen and I will be forever thankful for meeting her! A wonderful friend, mentor and amazing person all round 🤍

Helens next class will be held Sunday April 23rd and she only has 2 spots left! So jump on them quick sticks, as time spent with Helen is invaluable ✨

Just a little update…

Hello 👋
Since taking my last bookings in October, my very last beautiful family have had their baby 💖Which means my books are officially closed for 2023 🥹

I have much to catch you all up on, but after some uncertain times last year and some crappy news, that crappy news turned into the unexpected and we are expecting again, around June sometime🤰

So my decision to close off birth support bookings last October was intuitively the right call, and I am SO thankful that I can now immerse myself and surrender completely to my upcoming birth with the most wonderful birth support (because doulas need doulas too) 💖

Eventually I will share my story more in depth, but currently I am moving through a lot of unexpected feelings and really doing “the work” (and I mean reaaaaalllllly doing the nitty gritty deep, reflective work that is sometimes borderline soul crushing)… BUT it has to be done and honestly, I’m loving it.

Birth is real, birth is raw - I’ve done it before.
I don’t need the “education” or knowledge, I need me - in my truest form.
Because trusting myself comes first and to trust yourself wholeheartedly, well it takes work.

This space may or may not look different, my website is an un-updated mess but YOLO (does anyone even YOLO anymore?) 😂

Keeping me sane at the moment is my knitting, my garden, my incredible friends & family and my stinky sourdough starter - love you all 🤗 talk soon xx
