Today is International Day of People with Disability
A day to recognise the strength, diversity and contribution of more than 5.5 million Australians living with disability.

Here are a few reminders about the community around us:
• 1 in 5 Australians live with disability
• 15% of people aged 0–64 have disability
• More than half of people over 65 live with disability
• 7.9% live with a profound or severe disability
• And 1 in 10 people with disability have experienced discrimination

At Local Guardians, we’re committed to creating a community where everyone feels respected, supported and included, every day of the year.

What a fabulous day at the Aged & Disability Expo in Sydney today!
