We won an award! Meet The Most Supportive Youth Wellbeing Service in Melbourne according to the GHP Mental Health Awards in 2026!

We don't know how this happened (or frankly if this is legit) but we will take it. We love what we do, and we love the young people we work with and tbh - we have a lot to celebrate. We can't wait to share more about what we are celebrating soon!

Here's to us!

Today’s Movie Club choice

.Scream 7 đŸ˜±đŸ˜ł

We loved connecting with young people today, doing what young people do out and about in the community! The movie itself

.not so much. The group gave it a 4/10 “scary” rating.

If you’re a young person who’d love to join in on our regular movie clubs, check out our website. Link in bio.

The first question parents ask us often is: "What do you do in the group?" But, what many are actually wanting to know...Will my young person feel safe in this group?

We work hard to help them feel as safe as possible. Our groups are run by experienced facilitators & guided by trauma-informed principles. That means predictable sessions, different lighting options, access to materials (including sensory items), and a 1:1 meeting before anyone joins - so we know what helps people feel safest.

Will my young person feel supported in this group?

We work hard to help them feel as supported as possible. All of our groups are run by 2 facilitators for a reason - so we can support all group members, even if they’re having a hard time. We know our group participants well, because we meet with all of them 1:1 before coming to our groups. We ask young people and their support systems what works best.

Will my young person learn social skills in this group?

Yes. But not in the way you think. We don’t stand at the front of the room teaching “social skills.” Instead, young people explore what works for them while connecting with others in a
facilitated group environment.

So what do we actually do in our groups?

We create safe, supported spaces where young people can connect, learn about themselves and others, and choose how they want to participate. Sometimes that’s games. Sometimes that’s creative activities.
And sometimes...it’s frozen yoghurt.

We often get asked by young people, their families and clinicians we work with about our group therapy approach and how it looks different to other social groups.

We've put together some helpful info about our philosophy and values as a team.

If you're supporting a young person who you think might benefit from connecting with us and peers in a safe supportive group space, referrals for our groups are currently open.
