๐ Otie, belonging to our wonderful team member Jemma, was diagnosed with a**l sac adenocarcinoma earlier this year. Since then, he has been through an incredible journey - including surgery to remove both a**l glands performed by Dr Jaqui, followed by 6 rounds of chemotherapy over the past 4 months.
๐ฅ Otie is a much-loved part of our clinic family, so being able to support him through his treatment journey has meant so much to all of us. We are incredibly proud of how well he handled everything, all while keeping his cheeky personality and happy spirit throughout ๐
๐ถ Many people are surprised to learn that chemotherapy in dogs is often very different to chemotherapy in people, with most dogs tolerating treatment extremely well and not experiencing the severe side effects we commonly associate with human chemotherapy.
๐๐ฅณ To mark the occasion, Otie celebrated in style wearing his party hat and bow tie while soaking up all the cuddles, treats, and attention from the team!
We are so proud of this brave boy and grateful to celebrate this milestone with him. Please join us in congratulating Otie on finishing treatment and wishing him all the best for the future! ๐๐พ
