17 years into my career, and we’ve finally built a room that didn’t exist along the way.

We’ve always had strong spaces for osteopathy — the art, the technique, the profession, the growing national conference — but there hasn’t been a space that brings osteos into the broader allied health and sports medicine conversation, grounded in evidence, rehabilitation, and real-world decision making.

A space where what we do connects, translates, and stands alongside the wider industry.

That’s why this was built.

Not to replace what already exists, but to complement it, and to add another layer to how we think, learn, and practise.

For teams investing in their CPD, this is the kind of room that shifts thinking and carries back into the clinic.

Would love to see more osteos in the room this year. Tickets are already moving, so now’s the time to lock it in. ⚡

The Osteo Sports Network Sports Medicine Summit is back for 2026 - high energy, unmissable and built for practitioners who want more from their career.

This isn’t just another CPD day. It’s where clinical practice and performance collide.

This year's momentum evolves into an Allied Health Musculoskeletal Series.

You’ll leave with practical strategies you can apply immediately in any environment.

Nine years with Air Force Football Club

Next year marks 10.

What started with a call-up in 2018…
has become something far bigger than a role.

After 17 years in my career, I still choose to give two weeks every year to the National ADF Carnival.
Air Force. Army. Navy.

All in one place, bringing their best in spirit, preparation, competitiveness and camaraderie.

And every year, I’m reminded why.

The gratitude.
The respect.
The way they show up for each other… and for us.

At this stage of my career, you start to realise it’s not just about the work.
It’s about the communities you belong to.

From day one, this has felt special.
Now… it feels like family.

Proud to bring a team of students and osteopaths through Osteo Sports Network who care just as much as I do.

Because roles like this…
they become part of your legacy.

And they last far longer than any one job, moment, or client ever could.

Locked in for another three years.
Grateful for the people who make it happen…
and the friends, now family, who stand behind it.

War Machine is out today.
But slide two says it all. 💜➡️

I’ve been fortunate to meet and work with the machine himself, stuntman Ryan Tarran. A man who has been in the industry a long time, a production list a mile long, and simply loves his job.

Spending time with Ryan has given me a whole new appreciation for the world of stunt performers and doubles. The level of preparation is extraordinary. It’s like the training of an elite athlete, the conditioning of special ops training, and a hybrid of skills most of us could never imagine. The resilience, conditioning, precision, mental strength, and courage required for that craft is phenomenal, and he is the master.

But what impressed me even more is the man behind the work. An incredible husband, a proud father, and someone who shows up with character, determination and humility every single day.

The truth about careers like this is that the road is never straight. There are moments that test you and require grit, patience and belief when things feel uncertain.

Ryan is the kind of person who keeps showing up anyway.

And that’s why I know his story is far from finished. A remarkable comeback. You only end up where you choose to give up.

Lucky to meet Ryan, be inspired by him, and watch him continue to excel in his field. Cant wait for what’s next for him and his beautiful family.

War Machine - out on today. Do yourself a favour, and don’t forget to look out for the flying man.

The Physio and Private Practice Gala Ball had it all - flowing drinks, great humans, glitz and glamour, a bit of hypnotism, Elmo was there, a shark came by, Jade Scott was seen in a pair of crocs, some step taps, and generally allied health professionals doing what they do best on a dance floor. Good times.
