90% of the new clients I chat to during a consult have tried zinc for their skin. More often then not, it’s sadly had minimal benefits as they were doing at least 1 of the 4 listed mistakes. 💊

Now this it’s the clients fault! Finding the correct supplement can be tricky, this is why I’m here to help ☺️

So many skin loving ingredients all wrapped into one delicious 🐟 High protein, essential fatty acids (EPA & DHA), vitamin A & C.

There are a few variables that can influence the consistency of the patties, please measure with your heart. I’m a “throw it all in” and wing it kinda cook 😅

Recipe
2-3 raw salmon fillets (wild caught if possible & skin off)
1 medium sweet potato (cooked & peeled)
1-2 egg
1/2 cup fresh parsley
1-2 TBS fresh dill (optional)
1/2 onion
2 cloves of garlic
1/4-1/2 cup almond meal or breadcrumbs
1-2 TBS ghee for frying.

Method
Once the sweet potato has been cooked, remove the skin and add all of the ingredients into a food processor. Once you are happy with the consistency, form into patties and fry in ghee. Yep, that’s it!

These can be meal prepped and eaten as a high protein snack (hot or cold). Or enjoy as a meal with your choice of steamed veg & grain etc.

We all know that sugar isn’t our bestie in large doses, but whhyyy?? let’s dive into the mechanism as to how it influences & 🍫

👉🏻Blood sugar levels spike
👉🏻Increase in insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1)
👉🏻Increase in Androgens (s*x hormone)
👉🏻Increase in sebum (oil)
