Our Dendy Village Clinic is officially open 🎉🥳 Thanks to everyone who helped to make this happen, including a special mention to Scott the handyman!

Our new Physiotherapist Dana joins us in the clinic this week, please join us in giving her a warm welcome 😊

One week to go! Our second clinic at Dendy Village (Shop 3, 770 Hampton Street Brighton), is due to open on Monday 15th of September. This beautiful new clinic will run alongside our Small Street location, allowing us to offer better appointment availability.

Our current team will be working across both clinics, and we are thrilled to welcome a new team member also. Dana Berkovitz will be joining us at the Dendy Village Clinic. Dana has looked after the Bayside community for 25 years and is a titled APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist- we are feeling so lucky to have her on board.

A fond farewell to our fantastic Saturday physiotherapist Irwin. We are so grateful to have had you on our team. Thanks for sharing your skills, knowledge, compassion and Saturday mornings with us! We wish you the best of luck with your next chapter.

To our wonderful clients, we will have Saturday availability at our new clinic on Hampton Street in Dendy Village, from mid September. We hope to add Saturdays again at Small Street, Hampton again in the near future.

🎉Today we are celebrating a milestone at the clinic, five wonderful years of helping our community heal, move and thrive. We are so grateful for all of your trust and support, which has made The Physio Room what it is today. We would also like to say a huge thank you to our very special team present and past; thanks for sharing your knowledge, passion and empathy.

As has become tradition, we are celebrating with birthday cupcakes in the clinic today. It’s just a small gesture to say thank you for being such an important part of our journey.

On the topic of journeys, we are beyond excited to share what is coming next for The Physio Room. We will be opening a second clinic location in Dendy Village, Hampton Street Brighton in September 2025! We look forward to offering increased availability and assisting more members of the community. Here’s to the next chapter and to continuing our journey together.

🎄🤶Holiday Availability 🎅🎄

🎀Reception Availability

Our remote reception team will be available for the majority of the festive period, closing only for the public holidays (25th, 26th December, 1st January). A voicemail service will be available on public holidays.

🎅Therapist Availability

Please note our physiotherapist Lynda will be on leave for a well earned break, from the 25th of December and returning on the 6th of January. Essie and Karen are available as usual, except for on the public holidays (25th Dec, 26th Dec and 1st Jan). Irwin will be on leave for the 28th of December.

🎄Appointment Requests / Queries

Please email info@thephysioroom.co with any urgent/ non-urgent appointment requests and any queries during the holiday period. We recommend this over emailing your usual physiotherapist. Our team will be working reduced hours and days, or on leave; and may not have the opportunity to respond to your queries until their return to work.

A warm welcome on board to Colman! Colman will be joining us at the clinic from next week (1st of May) and will be available for physiotherapy consultations and clinical exercise from 1-8pm on Wednesdays and 12-6pm on Fridays.

We are feeling very lucky to have Colman join our team and we are excited to be able to offer increased appointment availability at the clinic. Colman joins us with a wealth of experience in private clinics, hospital settings and with sports teams. Colman is skilled in strength and conditioning, pilates and dry needling; and has undertaken further study in spinal rehabilitation. This variety of treatment methods means Colman can cater for acute onset of injuries, right through to high level rehabilitation and return to sport, drawing on mutiple treatment methods to tailor his care to the unique needs of each client.

We will have increased group clinical exercise class capacity also(includes pilates and strength training, each client follows an individual tailored program) so please contact us if you are keen to join a class! A huge thank you to physiotherapist Mark for his time at the clinic. Mark has taken up a fantastic opportunity and is moving to a full time role in data analytics with Cognizant Servian. We have thoroughly enjoyed having Mark on the team and wish him the best of luck with his new role!
