About Us
Golden Age Home care is a registered NDIS provider delivering support for all individuals with disabilities. We take pride in what we do by overcoming obstacles and encouraging abilities to our participants and their families.
The Opportunity
Golden Age Home care is looking for a support worker who is experienced in dealing with complex and extreme autism. You have to be engaging, motivated, and passionate to make a difference in individuals’ livelihood. We are looking for a support worker who is willing to work 2-3 shifts a week. You will be responsible for providing day-to-day support to our clients, this ranges from support within in-home, day-to-day activities, and accessing the community.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Applicants must have a person-centered approach
2. The ability to engage and guide our participants to better help manage their lives by assisting in daily living skills.
3. Promote independence whilst helping them achieve their goals.
Requirements to be eligible
· Minimum Certificate III in Disability or above
· Good communication skills
· Current drivers' license and access to a vehicle is a must.
· Current First Aid Certificate.
· Current National Police Check.
· Working With Children's Check.
