Join us for our next Sunday Morning Strollers (SMS) adventure to the beautiful Maroondah Reservoir Park in Healesville — a place where nature, history and breathtaking views come together.

We’ll wander through charming gardens, walk across the 41-metre dam wall, and take in spectacular views of the forest and the vast reservoir. Along the way we’ll discover a little piece of Melbourne’s water history and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this hidden gem of the Yarra Valley.

Expect fresh air, great company, stunning photo spots and plenty of Greek conversation along the way.

Bring your walking shoes, a smile and maybe a picnic to enjoy afterwards on the lawns.

Dear Sunday Morning Strollers,

As we come to the end of the year, I want to say a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you for being part of the Sunday Morning Strollers and for showing up to our walks throughout the year.

Thanks to Evangelos Plokamakis who embraced the idea, our group is now growing and this year we enjoyed many great walks and explored new paths around Melbourne! Most importantly, we kept our monthly appointment with nature, which is so important for all of us!

Our walks are more than just walking in nature though.....they are a space for connection, movement, conversation (in Greek!) and community. Everyone's enthusiasm, consistency and openess are what made our walks special and it has been an absolute joy to walk alongside you all!

Stay tuned for next year's schedule, as we are already planning great walks with Vagelis that will take us to new territories and explore new paths. And as our group continues to grow, our participation reminds us that walking is not just about physical activity - it's about belonging, wellbeing and showing up for one another. Thank you all for giving yoru energy and spirit to the group - and for the tsipouraki of course - and we look forward to many more sunday mornings, good conversations and shared steps in the eyar to come!

🌿 9th Nature Walk – Black Rock to Sandringham Beach 🌿

📍 Meeting Point: Black Rock House (34 Ebden Ave, Black Rock)

Join us for our last walk of the year — a beautiful 6 km coastal loop from Black Rock to Sandringham Beach! 🌊🚶‍♂️🌿

Expect stunning seaside views, fresh air, and great company as we stroll along one of Melbourne’s most scenic coastal paths.

🔥 Coffee or souvlaki after the walk!
Let’s end the year with good food, laughter, and warm community vibes.

Tomorrow’s walk is by the yarra river and it’s a beautiful walk that’s mostly flat and about an hour and a bit…. We will end up at the boat house where we can have a picnic around there. Also there is Greek festival in Fairfield tomorrow if you feel like checking it out afterwards!

It’s promising to be a great day tomorrow and time for the Sunday Morning Strollers-Melbourne to catch up again ! Did the walk myself today and thoroughly enjoyed it! And there is no single trail tomorrow, the path is wider….
