It's still Summer in Salt Lake City

It was baking hot three days ago,

But this morning, there is SNOW on the Mountains!!!

What?

Global Warming?

No, Climate Change?

Or is it the approaching Ice Age we heard about every day in the 70's.

Or perhaps the Skiers' Collective Prayers have been heard.

Or maybe there is just not enough Windmills in "them thar hills".

One thing for sure, it is a beautiful sight.

Such a Riot

There is a roaring din
Like a rioting mob
Giving me goose like skin
This is a hell of a job.

There’s screams and splashes
The slapping of wet running feet
Bumps, bruises and gravel rashes
A Cirque Du Soleil type action treat.

Am I in a stadium arena
Witnessing a hard fought game
The efforts couldn’t be meaner
It’s anything but tame

Gulping and gurgling, gasping for air
As testosterone surges on high
Under sopping wet hair
I witness the undeniable tiger’s eye.

You’d wonder what I am doing here
On a bright sunny late morn
Witnessing all dare and no fear
Away my eyes can never be torn.

Will this go on forever
The roaring sound of unbridled fun
It’s an energy without tether
Under the warm Utah sun.

Perhaps you think I’m an adrenaline fool
Enduring the din of this outrageous noise
But truth is folks that I sit by a pool
Just watching over two wild little boys.

Loving What You Do...

Doing What You Love...

Meet my dear friend of 46 years,

Graham Schodda or Schoddsie as we have always called him.

Recently he was best man at my August 24th Wedding.

We studied Physical Education Together

We shared a house

We both played Australian Rules Football (he was a better player)

He played Professionally, a handful of games...

At North Melbourne and St Kilda

We visited the US December 13th, 1983

He stayed. He moved around. He explored his art.

Then several years ago he found his sweet spot.

Some people use fine pencils, or charcoals, or paint brushes

Graham prefers a grinder.... and his canvas is Stainless Steel...

I can look at these for hours...

And he gave us one as a Wedding Gift. We love it.

This time I am going it alone. There are some things that have been on my mind and I reckon we need to be discussing them. Science that cannot be questioned is propaganda. Viewpoints that cannot be explored are just righteousness. We have to get better because there are things happening in the world that we may regret in the future.

Good Morning All. I have my Facebook account back.

Some of you will have noticed some scam posts on my account since last Thursday. My account was hacked and after 5 hours of trying everything I could, it was gone. I read websites, watched YouTube videos, repeated many processes, but the hackers had locked me out.

Then I was told by a friend about The Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman (An Australian Service). I filled out the form on their website late Thursday afternoon last week, and I now have my account back. What a brilliant service.

Take note of this website in case you or your friends ever need it.

The ASBFEO responds to requests for assistance from small businesses and family enterprises that are in dispute with other businesses or Commonwealth Government agencies.
