Feeling so excited, the beach respite house has nearly been completed! Handover will be in approximately 3 weeks and ready to welcome our wonderful participants and staff soon.

Only a hop, skip and jump away from Paradise and Golden Beaches.

Lock up stage is complete, not long to go now until our wheelchair accessible respite beach house is completed at Paradise Beach!

Construction has begun on our wheelchair-accessible respite house at Paradise Beach. Significant progress has already been made, from the slab framing to the roof, in under two weeks. We are excited about the opportunities this will provide for our participants, carers, and staff. Thank you to GJ Gardiner East Gippsland. 🏠💕🎉👏💖🎊😊

This is why we do what we do!! Our support workers get a lot of satisfaction and enjoyment out of helping people work towards their goals. Great job!!

Boy do we love working with this guy.... but today was extra special.

Pictured is our main man Mike with Josh. This is the first time Mike's been in this walking frame for a while which gets him out of his chair and up walking VERY tall!

The cool thing is that we wanted a smooth and long run way. The idea of an indoor basketball soon came to mind. It was so nice how accommodating Latrobe Leisure and the Latrobe City Council were with having us at the Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium in Tgon! With the idea of the basketball court and a quick phone call.... hey presto. Session achieved quickly! Thanks for having us guys.

Most of all and the best thing was how much Mike loved the session. Being upright and walking builds strength, endurance and capacity in positions that the chair just doesn't offer.

I wish there were words to explain how fulfilling it is to work with Mike. How proud he was of himself and how grateful he was after the session said it all!

Great stuff my guy! Keep up the fantastic work, let's keep pushing the boundaries and know that we love working with you!

Choice Support Services are proud to announce that we are now a fully registered NDIS Provider.

We are now able to provide support services to NDIS Participants who are NDIA Managed in addition to the support we already provide to our plan managed and self managed participants.

Choice Support Services are also proud to continue to offer support to TAC and WorkSafe clients since becoming a registered provider of TAC and Worksafe in April 2018.

September is Dystonia Awareness Month, an incurable disease that is dear to our hearts here at Choice Personnel Support Services.

For those that are unaware what Dystonia is, it is a neurological movement disorder. Faulty signals from the brain cause muscles to spasm and pull on the body incorrectly. This forces the body into twisting, repetitive movements or abnormal postures.

It can cause a great deal of stress to the person who suffers from it as well as to their family members who have to watch feeling helpless.

Well it has been a very busy few months at Choice Personnel Support Services. We are very pleased to announce that we have passed our Stage 2 NDIS Audit and are just waiting on our certificate to come through from NDIA.

What does this mean for our participants? There will be no changes to your current services, it is business as usual!!

It does mean that soon we will be offer our fantastic support services and staff to NDIA managed participants.

On another note, this year will see an exciting development for our participants as we build our purpose built wheelchair accessible house at Paradise Beach for respite use. We are hoping to have it completed by Christmas ready for use over the summer period. This is certainly an exciting time!!

Choice Personnel Support Services currently has capacity to take on new self-managed or plan managed NDIS participants.

We are also registered with TAC & WorkCover for in home supports and cleaning.
