Salut Montréal! Thanks for an awesome ten days. 🥰
Montreal is one of my true homes in the world. I lived there for 10 years. It's where I started teaching yoga, learnt to speak French and met the love of my life. After four years away it was so awesome to soak up the vibes of the city and connect with all the incredible people that make this such a special place.
Teaching classes again at was a beautiful reminder of the roots of what I teach and why I teach it. Seeing so many familiar faces and watching you all dive deeper into the awareness of your bodies was an incredible privilege. Thanks for coming along for the ride with me as my teaching continues to evolve.
Hopefully it won't be another four years before I can come hang out again. For now, catch me online, or come find me in Melbourne! 💃

Check out this ridiculous pose: short-tailed peacock, or mayurasana!
We played with this pose on Saturday in our Peak Pose Masterclass. We worked to build strength and mobility where needed, explored variations of the pose, and had a fabulous time overall.
This was our last peak pose class for a few months since I'm going away over the winter! I'm off to Canada and the US to visit friends and family as well as doing some work, both with private clients and teaching some group classes along the way. If you're in North America and want to connect, give me a holla! 😁
This is one of the reasons I'm launching my on-demand platform of classes, so no matter where I am, or where you are, you can continue practicing and learning with me! 💃

Next up for your CARs tutorials: ankles!
Controlled Articular Rotations are one of the most effective ways to get each of your joints moving every damn day. Joints love to move and you know what they say: move it or lose it! When you don't move your joints through their full range of motion on a regular basis your range of motion diminishes.
There's a common misconception that we lose range of motion simply because of age... but more accurately, we lose range of motion because we don't use it!
So go get on it! Start your daily CARs routine now!

Next up in your CARs routine: your knees! 🦵
Did you know your knees are rotational joints? We often think of them as hinge joints, but they do have a small amount of rotation while in flexion, and that rotation is super important for their overall health. Improving the rotational capacity of your knees will help them perform all other movements more efficiently.
This movement can be tricky, so remember to be patient! Keep the movement slow and controlled - move with awareness!
