A free long-acting RSV monoclonal antibody, Beyfortus™ (Nirsevimab), will be offered to eligible infants and young children until 30 September. Check out our diagram for eligibility criteria for the infant program.

Did you know pregnant women in Australia between 28 to 36 weeks gestation can receive a free Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccine through the government’s National Immunisation Program?

Vaccination is the safest and most effective way to reduce the risk of hospitalisation of newborns in their first 6 months.

The Abrysvo RSV vaccination allows for transmission of antibodies across the placenta to the developing baby.

If you are between 28- and 36-weeks pregnant talk to your healthcare provider to receive your free vaccination.

Bendigo families – Don’t forget to register! 📢📢📢

The and the are collaborating to provide a satellite "pop-up" travel immunisation clinic for the wider Bendigo community on Monday 26 May!

This clinic specifically provides local access to BCG vaccine for children, without the need to travel to Melbourne. Families will also have access to regular National Immunisation Program and flu vaccines provided by the City of Greater Bendigo at the same location. Other vaccinations available include typhoid, hepatitis A, and meningococcal B.

The City of Greater Bendigo and FITS Clinic collaboration event is fast approaching and YOU'RE INVITED!

The City of Greater Bendigo and the Family Immunisation and Travel Clinic (FITS) are collaborating to provide a satellite "pop-up" travel immunisation clinic for the wider Bendigo community.

FITS is Victoria's largest private travel clinic for kids, comprising a team of paediatricians and immunisation nurses who specialise in travel medicine and immunisation. This satellite clinic partnership specifically provides local access to BCG vaccine for families, without the need to travel to Melbourne. Families will also have access to regular National Immunisation Program and flu vaccines provided by the City of Greater Bendigo at the same location.

FITS is also offering a FREE “Ask Me Anything” session for any GP practice nurses, nurse immunisers and GPs to chat with their specialists about anything related to immunisation. This is a hybrid meeting (virtual and F2F), and registration is available here: https://forms.office.com/r/vnZj1r4KhC
