Eddie Marbo, 30 years ago today, he changed Australian history. The Marbo landmark high court case was significant, as it acknowledged the traditional rights of our Indigenous people to their land and waters and paved the way for native title in Australia. It recognised that Indigenous people occupied Australia for tens of thousands of years before the British arrived in 1788. Let's celebrate Marbo Day and Reconciliation Week.
