Umbrella Support Services are looking for people to join our ever growing team of support workers across Melbourne's CBD as well as the north, east and south-east suburbs. Previous experience in disability or personal care a plus but not a necessity, licence and own vehicle is prefered and an open, caring, reliable and honest personality is a must!

Umbrella Support Services is a dynamic, flexible, inclusive and progressive service that is committed to positive outcomes for people with disability. We work with many individuals with diverse and unique support needs. We are currently recruiting for multiple casual Disability Support Workers to join our team in the Eastern and South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. Shifts will range from 3 to 6 hours either the day or evening. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing quality supports to individuals to provide personal care, and/or community access, promoting opportunities for meaningful participation and active inclusion in the community.

Experience is a bonus but not essential. Training will be provided. We are seeking reliable, enthusiastic and responsible individuals who want to add value to people’s lives.

Essential criteria:

• Covid vaccinated

• Ability to provide Person Centered Supports

• Ability to communicate with a wide range of people

• Ability to provide supports to a diverse group of people

• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)

• A commitment to the wellbeing & inclusion of people with disability
