Crossroads Psychology Welcomes Martine Henderson to our team ✔️– Martine has current availability to taking new clients aged 0 - 12 face to face at our Frankston Clinic.
This is Martine. she is an Accredited Mental Health Social worker with 20+ years of experience. She’s worked with infants, children and families, providing assessments, therapy and support to strengthen family relationships.
She is passionate about providing support to children with neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism and ADHD, as well as those with anxiety, depression, trauma, or big life changes. She also works with parents during the antenatal and postnatal periods, helping them navigate the challenges and adjustments that can come with this stage of life.
Her approaches are strength-based and relationship-focused. She works from an attachment and trauma-informed perspective to help parents understand their child’s emotional world and respond in ways that build connection and resilience. She believes that when parents and children feel safe and understood, they can grow and thrive together.
She provides a warm, collaborative and reflective space where families feel valued and supported. Her goal is to help families make sense of what’s happening, build on their strengths, and create stronger, more connected relationships.
