Welcome Dr Ghada Al-Saraf to Watsonia Central Medical Clinic

We’re very excited to welcome Dr Ghada Al-Saraf to our clinic team.

Dr Ghada graduated in 2011 from the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, and brings over 15 years of combined clinical experience from Australia and overseas. She migrated to Australia with her family in 2017 and has since worked at The Austin Hospital and completed her General Practice training in the lovely towns of Gisborne and Echuca, where she achieved her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

Dr Ghada has a strong interest in women’s health and chronic disease management, and her additional qualifications include the Sydney Child Health Program and a Certificate of Practical Dermoscopy.

As a mum of two boys, Dr Ghada values family-centred, patient-focused care, and we’re thrilled to have her join our community.

We’re so proud to have Dr Jef Reinten on the team at Watsonia Central Medical Clinic.

Patients appreciate his genuine care, sharp clinical skills, and down-to-earth approach to medicine.

Dr Jef Reinten graduated from Melbourne University in 2011 having completed his MBBS, BSc (zoology) and BA (philosophy). He went on to work with many talented physicians across Australia, in Melbourne, Alice Springs and Byron Bay.

Jef is a strong generalist with special skills in ultrasonography and chronic disease management. He is happy to see people of all ages, sexes, and genders.

Outside of medicine, Jef enjoys sculpting, reading, board games, theatre, and the company of his friends.

We’re delighted to introduce Dr Colleen Toner, a highly qualified and dedicated General Practitioner, to our team.

Colleen completed her medical degree (MBBS) at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, in 2005 and her specialist GP training in 2010. Since moving to Melbourne in 2014, she has been a proud Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has established her practice in the Inner Suburbs.

She enjoys the full scope of General Practice, with particular expertise in:
Women’s Health – including menopause management, pre-conception advice, and shared maternity care.

Child Health (Paediatrics) – supporting children’s health and development.

Preventative Medicine – helping patients stay well with a proactive, long-term focus.
