A major Australian review finds exercise shouldn't just be an add-on treatment for depression and the benefits might be heightened if you've never tried a downward dog or deadlift before.

Unfortunately Hills Exercise Physiology will no longer be operating at 134 Colby Drive, Belgrave South.

The impact of covid lockdown restrictions have unfortunately taken another victim being the beloved gym in Belgrave South. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank First Train Fitness for providing me with a platform to begin the Hills EP journey and I never expected it to achieve what it has so far.

Fortunately, one thing I have achieved in the past 2 years is the ability to pivot and adapt to any challenging scenario thrown my way. Adapt, survive, thrive.

Moving forward Hills Exercise Physiology will continue to provide a mobile service to NDIS participants and continue with telehealth consultations for the unforeseeable future.

Thanks - Nick

Not the news we were looking for today… as expected all upcoming appointments will be re-scheduled for post lockdown.

Whether you agree with them or not, the ruling on restrictions are out of our control - that’s why we’ve come up with 5 things you can control to get you through this lockdown 😊 πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ πŸ‹οΈ 🚴

Today, Melbourne is waking up to the easing of restrictions even further allowing gyms to re-open up to 10 people inside. This also means that group exercises will be commencing in the coming days.

Furthermore, today I am pleased to announce that we have been accepted as a registered NDIS provider for exercise physiology services. This allows us to give equal opportunity to provide a service to everyone in the community of all abilities. If you have funding from the national disability insurance scheme and you want to improve your health and wellbeing or have any questions please get in touch!

We are almost there! Well done Victoria and the Hills Community πŸŽ‰ whilst this time has tested our patience we are finally beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I truly believe after all this we will be stronger and more connected as a community.

Last Sunday saw restrictions ease including Allied Health being able to return to face-to-face consults (with or without a GP referral) although we must say telehealth is primarily encouraged to reduce traveling around.

Unfortunately, group indoor sessions are not allowed at this stage. Should numbers continue to decrease with a rolling 14-day average below 5.0 we expect indoor group sessions to commence next week with a maximum of 3 people per group with strict social distancing and sanitizing measures in place to protect you.

Keep an eye on our socials for updates as they come πŸ’ͺπŸΌπŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ‹πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ
