I created this because of my mum 💛
Over the past few years, I’ve watched her lose strength, muscle, and some confidence in her body.

About a month ago, I went along with her to a group strength session with around 20 people, and it really highlighted how challenging it can be to keep up with the pace and stay on top of technique in that kind of environment.

Not because she didn’t want to be there, but because it wasn’t the right level of support.

And I know she’s not the only one.

So we’ve created something different.

Our Strength & Balance Foundations Program is designed for older adults who want to feel stronger, more stable, and more confident in their body, with the right level of support around them.

This is a small group, fully coached program focused on:
• Building strength safely
• Improving balance and stability
• Supporting bone health
• Feeling more confident in everyday movement

Everyone who joins will begin with a one-on-one session, so we can understand where they’re at and guide them safely from day one.

We’re starting with a come and try session on Monday 4th May at 10:45am, followed by an 8-week program starting Monday 11th May.

Spots are limited to keep the group small and supported.

Huge shout out to Steph 👏
As we wrapped up the block last week, she stepped up and hit a new women’s bench press record at Legacy… 50kg for 8 reps 🔥

And this one means something.

Because just over three years ago, Steph couldn’t bench press 20kg.

No shortcuts. No rushing it. Just consistent work, week after week, building strength and backing herself.

Along the way, she’s also pushed outside her comfort zone. Last year she took on a HYROX relay, and this year she’s already setting her sights on even more.

That’s the shift. Not just getting stronger, but becoming someone who goes after it. 💪

Steph, this is such a solid milestone. Excited to see what you chase next 🙌

Our NEW 🆕 LIFT block is here! 🎉 Day 2 is where we bring it together with full body strength.

This 8-week LIFT block is designed to help you get stronger, move better, and train with purpose.

Deadlifts, rows, presses, and single-leg work to build muscle and support your joints, while teaching your body to work as one.

There’s also a strong focus on core strength and stability.

With V sit work and single arm movements, your body has to resist twisting or tipping, which switches on your core and spinal support muscles in a way that carries over to everyday life.

Our next 8-week block is coming up.

Our upcoming breathwork workshop sold out within the first week, so we’ve opened up 5 more spots.

Most women we speak to are doing their best to train, eat well and keep up with life, but still feel tired, overwhelmed and stuck in go mode.

This session is about changing that.

Breathwork for calm and recovery with Bee Pennington.

In this workshop, you’ll learn simple, practical breathing techniques to help regulate your nervous system, support recovery and bring your body back into balance.

This isn’t about doing more.
It’s about giving your body what it needs to actually respond.

Here’s what you’ll take away:

• Simple “micro-dose” breathing techniques you can use throughout the day
• How to shift your body out of stress mode quickly
• How to recognise the signals your body is giving you
• Why your nervous system plays a key role in your energy, sleep and recovery
• A guided breathwork experience to help you reset

This is especially helpful if you’ve been feeling wired, navigating midlife changes, or just needing a reset.

❤️ WE’RE HIRING – GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR / PERSONAL TRAINER ❤️

Do you love helping women feel strong, capable, and confident in their bodies?

Legacy Health & Fitness in Ringwood is looking to connect with an enthusiastic Group Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer to join our team.

We specialise in helping women build strength, confidence, and lifelong healthy habits in a welcoming and supportive community.

About the Role

We’re looking for a personable and reliable trainer who enjoys coaching group sessions and building strong relationships with members.

Many of our members have been training with us for years. They know each other by name, support each other through every class, and celebrate each other’s progress. A coach who values connection and community will thrive here.

We’re especially interested in someone who takes pride in their coaching and genuinely cares about the experience our members have in every class.

This role will begin with casual class coverage, with the opportunity to grow into ongoing shifts and personal training clients over time.

Current Coaching Opportunities

We’re currently looking for support across the following sessions:

✨ Monday 5:30 pm
✨ Wednesday 5:30 pm
✨ Thursday 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
✨ Saturday 7:00 am – 10:00 am (monthly roster)

Ongoing opportunities may include:

🌞 Saturday mornings (monthly roster)
🌅 Wednesday 7:00 am class
🌱 Additional class cover and personal training clients as the gym continues to grow

What We’re Looking For

✔ Cert III & IV in Fitness (or currently studying)
✔ First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
✔ A friendly and motivating coaching style
✔ Reliability and pride in delivering a great class experience
✔ A genuine passion for helping women feel stronger and more confident
