Boho Healing

Boho Healing Rapid Transformational Therapy s a powerful hybrid method that gets to the root cause of why we may feel stuck. Like everyone else, I have a story.

It is a method that combines the most effective techniques from NLP, CBT, hypnotherapy and psychotherapy. My parents were in their late teens when I was born, and although they tried to live as a family, the odds were against them from the beginning. I lived with my mother; she was a loving woman with a kind heart; however, she battled with bipolar & post-traumatic stress disorder, both undiagnose

d. She frequently self-medicated with soft drugs & alcohol. Life was never stable; we moved frequently. My childhood was stressful; I grew up way too young and adopted a mother role by the time I was Eight. My father would plead with me to live with him, but I needed to take care of my mother for if I didn't, I believed she would die. My childhood showed me extreme violence, terror, drug abuse and alcoholism. I lied to my father for fear that he would take me away continuously living in a state of fight or flight, I was in survival mode. I met my husband when I was 24; in many ways, I felt stable for the first time in my existence. We've built a wonderful life together we have two teenage boys, and I can honestly say that I now have the life I visualised in my dreams. We grew a number of successful businesses together and although financially, my life was very different from childhood, there was something that I couldn't seem to reconcile within myself. Despite all of my successes, I still felt that I wasn't enough. I felt like an imposter in my own life. I experienced Hypnotherapy and discovered the power of reshaping your thoughts & your belief system. In 2020 I discovered Marisa Peer & her groundbreaking therapy RTT. I studied during the many lockdowns we experienced in Melbourne & graduated as a hypnotherapist & RTT Practitioner. Rapid Transformational Therapy is nothing short of phenomenal. Repost from Moonbeam Angels - Intuitive Energy Healer, Psychic & Spiritual Counsellor
Couldn’t have said it better myself!

A father said to his daughter “You have graduated with honors, here is a car I bought many years ago.
It is a bit older now but before I give it to you, take it to the used car lot downtown and tell them you want to sell it and see how much they offer you for it.

The daughter went to the used car lot, returned to her father and said, “They offered me $1,000 because they said it looks pretty worn out.”

The father said, now “Take it to the pawn shop.” The daughter went to the pawn shop, returned to her father and said,”The pawn shop offered only $100 because it is an old car.”

The father asked his daughter to go to a car club now and show them the car. The daughter then took the car to the club, returned and told her father,” Some people in the club offered $100,000 for it because it’s a Holden Torana and it's an iconic car and sought by many collectors”

Now the father said this to his daughter, “The right place values you the right way,” If you are not valued, do not be angry, it means you are in the wrong place. Those who know your value are those who appreciate you......Never stay in a place where no one sees your value.

Never!

This image of Ruby Bridges shadow by cast by VP is stunning.

It was just 60 years ago that 6 year old Ruby Bridges needed federal marshals to es**rt her to elementary school, when she became one of the first African American children to attend an integrated school in New Orleans. Seeing Kamala, an accomplished Attorney General, Senator and DA stride confidently into that White House will be a sight to behold. I am so ecstatic that we have elected a black woman to the second highest leadership position in the United States at a moment when we need female leadership the most.

Representation matters. Character matters. Diversity matters. The truth matters. Decency matters.

And now, the work of unifying and healing this nation begins - the exact work women have been doing in their communities since the beginning of time.

💜💜 Read to the end ❤️❤️

Thank you Robyn Grace what a beautiful post!

Out of the mouth's of Babe's.

What Love means to 4-8 year old kids??

Slow down for three minutes to read this.

A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, 'What does love mean?'

The answers they got were broader, deeper, and more profound than anyone could have ever imagined !

'When my grandmother got arthritis , she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore.. So my grandfather does it for her all the time , even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love.' Rebecca- age 8

'When someone loves you , the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth.'

Billy - age 4

'Love is when a girl puts on perfume

and a boy puts on shaving cologne

and they go out and smell each other.' Karl - age 5

'Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs.' Chrissy - age 6

'Love is what makes you smile when you're tired.' Terri - age 4

'Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him , to make sure the taste is OK.' Danny - age 8

'Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and just listen.' Bobby - age 7 (Wow!)

'If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate.' Nikka - age 6

(we need a few million more Nikka's on this planet)

'Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday.' Noelle - age 7

'Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still

friends even after they know each other so well.' Tommy - age 6

'During my piano recital , I was on a stage and I was scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling.

He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore.' Cindy - age 8

'My mommy loves me more than anybody. You don't see anyone else kissing me to sleep at night.' Clare - age 6

'Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken.' Elaine-age 5

'Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford.' Chris - age 7

'Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him

alone all day.' Mary Ann - age 4

'I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones.' Lauren - age 4

'When you love somebody , your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you.' (what an image) Karen - age 7

'Love is when Mommy sees Daddy on the toilet and she doesn't think it's gross..' Mark - age 6

'You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget.' Jessica - age 8

And the final one: The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbour was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his

wife. Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old

gentleman's yard , climbed onto his lap, and just sat there. When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbour, the little boy said, 'Nothing, I just helped him cry.'

Now, take 60 seconds and Post this for other to see. And then be a child again today!

There has been a spike in domestic violence cases, many women may find it difficult to leave the house.

Share this signal - it could allow someone to show you they need help.

If a loved one performs this gesture while on a Zoom or FaceTime call, you now know what it means and can act accordingly. If you’re unsure what to do next, give 1800RESPECT a call — Australia’s national sexual assault, domestic and family violence counselling service — and they’ll be able to give you sound advice

Isolation can increase the risk of violence at home. If this is the case for you, use this signal on a video call to show you need help. If someone gives you...

🍷 🍷 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷
Do you drink more than 7 glasses of wine per week?

If the answer is yes, alcohol could be a problem for you.

The classic picture of an alcoholic is someone who always drinks too much and whose life is falling apart because of it.

The wino at the park, the homeless man - poor old uncle Brian that never got his sh together.

That's not always the case.

Many people seem to be just fine even though they abuse alcohol. 🙋🏼‍♀️

This is something I know about from personal experience both as a child & as an adult.

People that seemingly handle alcohol well are known as “functional” or “high-functioning" alcoholics.

A high functioning alcoholic usually has a great “outside life,” with a job that pays well, home, family, friendships, and strong social bonds according to Sarah Allen Benton, a licensed mental health counselor and author of Understanding the High-Functioning Alcoholic.

So, what are the signs?

What is heavy drinking for women?

For women, it’s having more than three drinks a day or seven per week.

If you drink more than the daily or weekly limit, you’re at risk of long term health problems.

That's not the only way to tell if you or someone you care about needs help.

There are some other red flags, do any of these resonate?

🚩 You say you have a problem or joke about alcoholism

🚩 Not keep up with responsibilities at home or work

🚩 Losing friendships or have relationship problems due to drinking.

🚩 Need alcohol to relax or feel confident socially

🚩🚩 Drink in the morning or when you’re alone.

🚩🚩Get drunk when you don’t intend to.

🚩🚩Forget what you did while drinking.

🚩🚩Deny drinking, hide alcohol, or get angry when confronted about drinking.

🚩🚩Cause loved ones to worry about or make excuses for your drinking.

Confidence is a hot topic for me at the moment.

I sway between REALLY confident & NOT confident depending on the situation.

I find that I'm confident when I'm comfortable with people, feel good about myself & know what I'm talking about.

I find that I'm not confident when I see myself on screen, feel a little blah with myself or when I enter a room full of people that I don't know or that I perceive may not like me.

Note I said PERCIEVE.

If you would like to learn a few tricks to boost your confidence & improve your self esteem drop me a comment or an emoji below. It's a topic I've flagged for a Free mini workshop.

Free mini mind fit workshop's are available in our private group Mindset Mum's on Facebook.

So it's Monday.
You only realise because your phone tells you!
Your workdays & weekends are starting to merge together like one big hot mess - ohh actually that's just my hair.

Is it odd that I'm actually loving it?

Were missing family, friends & a meal out, but getting sh done & I mean REALLY done.

I love being productive, from cleaning out the bathroom cupboards to writing content for a new workshop... don't forget binging Stan & Netflix in-between.

Almost two weeks of lockdown completed....

The Begining

Mindset Mum is a passion project that has come to life during Covid 19.

I completed my studies as a hypnotherapist & transformational coach earlier this year.

I can honestly say that helping others feeds my sole. Everyone has a story, our mindset depicts how we see ourselves & how we envisage the rest of the world.

Mum’s play such an important role in shaping their families we need to support & encourage each other to be the best we can be.
