Common household triggers like dust, mould, pollen, and pets can flare up allergies, especially in spring. Here are some simple steps you can take to reduce exposure to these triggers:

🤧 Dust - Regularly vacuum or mop floors, wash bedding and soft toys in hot water, and dry them in direct sunlight. Dust furniture with a damp cloth, and air out blankets in the sun.
🤧 Mould - Use a dehumidifier in damp areas, remove houseplants that may harbor mould in their soil, and clean any visible mould or mildew with a bleach solution.
🤧 Pollen - On windy days, avoid gardening, use inorganic mulch like pebbles to prevent weeds and spores, and steer clear of strong-smelling plants.
🤧 Pets - Keep pets out of bedrooms, groom them outdoors, bathe them regularly if needed, and clean their cages, beds, or litter boxes frequently.
