Waiting for support can be hard, especially when you’re already struggling.

When you’ve finally made the decision to reach out, being told you’ll have to wait can feel deflating, even unfair. You’ve already done the hardest part: asking for help. That was brave. That was huge. 💛

While you wait, remember that your healing doesn’t have to be on hold. Small acts of care, a quiet walk, a few honest words in a journal, a text to someone you trust, all count. They remind your nervous system that safety and comfort still exist.

Got your psychological assessment results and not sure what’s next?

You’re not alone, it can feel like a lot to take in. Sometimes you finally get the clarity you’ve been searching for… and then wonder, “What do I actually do with all this information?”

Start small. Revisit your report when you’re ready, not all at once, just one section at a time.
Then ask yourself:
💬 What strengths stood out?
💬 What strategies can I start using right now?
💬 Who can I share this with to make life a little easier?

You don’t need to have it all figured out straight away, progress happens in layers.
The goal isn’t to change who you are, but to understand yourself more deeply and find tools that help you thrive.

For sessions with our Registered Psychologists, a GP referral can fetch you a Medicare rebate of $96.35 per session for up to 10 sessions a year. Without a Mental Health Care Plan, standard fees apply.
