Did you help create The Maze in the early 1990s?

Crafted in 1991 by over a hundred young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds under the guidance of artist Sue Circosta, The Maze was a large-scale immersive papier-mâché installation.

More than thirty years later, we’re restaging this project in 2026 and are looking to reconnect those who helped bring it to life.

If you participated, remember someone who did, or have photos or memories to share, we would love to hear from you.

Contact arts@cgd.vic.gov.au and help us rebuild The Maze together.
