👆Did you know that Cabin crew members are trained in first aid to ensure passenger safety and manage medical emergencies during flights.

✈️ Given the unique environment of an aircraft—isolated from immediate medical assistance and equipped with limited resources—flight attendants must be prepared to address health issues that may arise. Their first aid training encompasses a range of skills, including:

• Basic Life Support: Performing CPR and using Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to respond to cardiac emergencies.

• Medical Emergency Management: recognising and managing in-flight medical situations such as respiratory distress, severe allergic reactions, and other acute conditions.

• Use of Onboard Medical Equipment: Operating equipment like first aid kits, emergency medical kits, and administering supplemental oxygen when necessary.

• Passenger Assistance: Providing care for ill or injured passengers, including wound management, immobilising fractures, and offering support during medical incidents.

This comprehensive training enables cabin crew to act swiftly and effectively, ensuring the well-being of passengers until professional medical services are available upon landing.❤️

2 - Medications/ keep out of reach & correct dosage
